Great article and so fitting. The house I’m living in right now is a 4. Makes so much sense. The house address I lived in when I was married was an 8. After reading the descriptions it was such an eye opener. Thanks for a great article!

I love this post Dorena! How do you prefer to handle fractions? For instance, I spent my formative years at 79 1/2. I can see arguments for ignoring the half or for adding both the 1 and 2 as additional digits.

That’s such a good question! How I’d handle it is to convert the fraction to a decimal and then figure out the numerology. So 79 ½ would be 79.5. 7+9+5 = 21 = 3

I hadn’t thought of that method! Thanks for sharing.

I moved from a 1 to a 5 … my landlord who lived here for a bit before I moved in LOVES this house … which makes sense since her #1 spiritual gift is hospitality.

Which do you feel more at home in...a 1 or a 5?

Fascinating! My home doesn't have a number, so wondering what that means....🤔

Is it just a street address? We can also figure out the numerology by the street if you want to let me know what that is.

It's just a house name and the next part is the village a mile away. It's very usual where I live. One bill we get does have the name Pwllmarl Road (except it's a narrow lane, lol) before the village but I've not seen it on any maps. I must live in an odd place 🤣

Bryn Glas (it's Blue Hill in Welsh)

Hi Elaine! You can also find out the numerology for letters as each letter has a numerical value. The numerology for Bryn Glas is an 8.

Awe, thank you Dorena for taking time to find out. That's making a bit of sense to me I think. 😄

7 home and it has the best energy of any apartment I’ve lived in. Even my non-spiritually inclined friends say that the energy is amazing.

Thank you for this, Dorena... I live in a 7 home during the winter, but it gets rented out to tourists in the summer so I've moved in temporarily with my next door neighbor. This home is a 6. I hadn't realized how changing home numbers might impact my life, but I can definitely feel it. I'll be back in the 7 home beginning in October...

I have also meant to ask a question about art near the front door (maybe you already have written about this). I recently realized there is a kind of freaky painting by the front door of my neighbor's house where I'm staying... I actually took it down into another room and turned it around because I suspected having it by the entrance was not a good idea. (One of the faces in it looks like a devil... it's three Native Americans and two horses in kind of an intense red and black scheme, and this particular face has very dark eyes and is wearing horns.) Would be curious your take on this (or maybe it's for another post or note!).

That's so cool that you get to experience the energy of both so close together and can feel the difference.

The front door is the mouth of chi. It's where energy flows into the home. It sounds like the painting could potentially be throwing off the energy entering the home. Does it feel better after having moved it?

I've been living at eight home since the end of January and I have started two businesses and done an intensive amount of inner work around finances. 😮 I've never even heard of this until today.

I'm moving next week to stay with a friend while I apartment hunt so this will be in the back of my mind the whole time.

Ooh interesting! Should I include the digits from the street as well as the house itself (like if my address were 123 4th Ave, would I include the 4)?
